“The rooms are compact, but the beds are extremely comfortable, the staff are welcoming and the communal spaces are very, very cool.”
A visit to the hotel’s rooftop bar with beautiful views of the Hudson River and the Freedom Tower skyline is a great way to start your trip.

SUMMIT ONE VANDERBILT
This new multi-sensory immersive experience located on the 91st, 92nd and 93rd floors of One Vanderbilt Avenue (right next door to Grand Central Station) is a must-visit on your next trip to New York.

Visit for nature, colourful art installations and dazzling city and river views. Head to the top of the winding paths for more amazing views or sit back and relax in the sprawling amphitheatre and watch the world go by.
After some downtime in the park, stop by the nearby Chelsea Market for food or enjoy a stroll through the Meatpacking District and take some shopping time.
EAT:
KAT’S DELI
Katz’s Delicatessan is an iconic eatery on the Lower East Side. Open since 1911 the no-frills institution is famous for its sandwiches and other deli classics, like matzo ball soup and much more.
It’s also where Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal shot their famous ‘I’ll have what she’s having’ diner scene from When Harry Met Sally. The pastrami on rye sandwich comes highly recommended.
