AerClub Avios Millionaire Competition (the "Competition")

1. The Promoters of the Competition are Aer Lingus Limited, Head Office, Dublin Airport, Co Dublin, Ireland ("Aer Lingus") and Avios Group (AGL) Limited, Waterside, PO Box 365, Harmondsworth, Middlesex UB7 0GB, England ("AGL").
2. You must be a registered AerClub member resident in the Republic of Ireland and aged 18 years or older at date of entry to be eligible to enter the Competition. Employees of Avios Group (AGL) Ltd and Aer Lingus Limited and any affiliates or subsidiaries of those companies are not eligible for entry or anyone else associated with the administration of the Competition.
3. By entering the Competition, (a) You, the entrant, represent and warrant that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, that you are eligible to participate in the Competition, and that all of the information provided as part of your entry is accurate, does not violate any third party's legal rights or any applicable laws; and (b) You, the entrant, agree to be bound by Aer Lingus' interpretation of these Terms and Conditions which is final in all matters relating to the Competition.
4. The prize consists of one prize of 1 million Avios points (see Avios terms and conditions here). There is one prize. There is no cash value or alternative to the prize. The prize is non-transferable. The Avios will be awarded to the winner's AerClub account within 40 days of when the winner is notified.
5. Eligible AerClub members who are opted in to receive marketing communications from AerClub will receive an email headed "Become an Avios Millionaire" which will contain a question (test of skill). To enter, entrants must follow the instructions provided in that email.
6. Entrants must submit their entry by clicking on their chosen answer and including their AerClub membership number only in the email by 11.59pm on 21 October 2024 IST (the "Closing Date"). Entrants should not submit any other personal data other than that requested to be provided in the email.
7. Only one valid entry to the Competition is permitted per person.
8. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be included in the Competition.
9. The prize draw will take place on 22 October 2024 and the winner will be notified by 31 October 2024.  The prize winner of the Competition will be chosen at random from all valid correct entries received by the Closing Date.
10. AerClub will contact the winner at the email address associated with their AerClub account. The winner will have 48 hours to claim their prize. Failure to do so will result in disqualification and another winner being selected.
11. Incomplete entries will not be eligible for the Competition.
12. Aer Lingus will not be responsible for any entries that are not received (for any reason) by the Closing Date, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
13. Entries not submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or that are illegible, incomplete or altered will be disqualified. Details of how to enter the Competition form part of these Terms and Conditions.
14. Aer Lingus is entitled at its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant or withdraw the prize if Aer Lingus becomes aware of any possible dishonesty and/or fraud and/or breach of these Terms and Conditions. Without limiting the foregoing the use of a false name or address will disqualify the entrant from the Competition.
15. Aer Lingus accepts no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to the Competition, including, but not limited to, incomplete, corrupt or incorrect entries or for any malfunctions, errors or viruses in any software, or for any incompatibility with all, or any, hardware and/or software that entrants may use. Proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
16. The decision of Aer Lingus shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into in that regard.
17. Aer Lingus reserves the right at its sole discretion to modify, cancel, terminate or temporarily suspend the Competition at any time. The prize may change at any time without notification. In such circumstances Aer Lingus will endeavour to replace the prize with one of at least equivalent value.
18. Aer Lingus does not take responsibility for any delays or difficulties experienced in the supply or use of the prize.
19. Entrants' personal data will be handled in accordance with Aer Lingus privacy statement. Entry data will be retained by Aer Lingus for a reasonable period after the Competition closes to assist Aer Lingus to operate competitions in a consistent manner and to deal with any queries.
20. The winner may be requested to participate in any reasonable publicity when asked by Aer Lingus and shall not receive payment for such publicity. By entering this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions governing this promotion and by any other requirements set out in related promotional materials.
21. The full name and county/city of the winner may be published on various sources at the discretion of Aer Lingus.
22. To the extent permitted by law, Aer Lingus accepts no liability for any loss suffered by entrants in relation to the Competition. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of Aer Lingus for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
23. Each of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions is severable and if any such provision is held by any court or other competent authority to be illegal, void or unenforceable in whole or in part, the legality, validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall not be affected or impaired.
24. The Competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by Irish Law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts which shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with the Competition. Any disclaimer of liability by Aer Lingus under these Terms and Conditions is enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
