Proud of its artistic and musical traditions, Toulouse is a lively and effervescent city. A stone’s throw from the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, Toulouse is known as the Capital of the Occitanie, a region ideally located in the south west of France, perfect destination for both nature lovers and history buffs.
Located close to the centre of Toulouse, there are many ways of easily and quickly getting from the airport to the Toulouse town centre and surrounding area.
Taxi: The taxi ranks are located on the ground floor, on the arrivals level, between Gates B3 (Hall B) and C1 (Hall C). Journey takes around 20 minutes and will cost around €25.
Bus: There are several buses available at the airport to take you to the city centre. The Airport shuttle links Toulouse-Blagnac Airport and the Toulouse Matabiau station. Journey takes 20 to 45 minutes depending on traffic and costs €8.50.
Trains: The T2 tram line links Toulouse city centre directly with the airport, the last stop. The tram can also take you directly to the Beauzelle exhibition centre, the Zénith music venue and the Toulouse stadium. Travel time is around 35 minutes on average and costs €1.70 a ticket per trip.
A visa is not required for either tourist or business stays, but other visas to France depend on your nationality and length/purpose of your stay. Best thing to do is check the official visa website for France.
