Refund Request Form

Before you request a refund, please review our cancellation and refund policy. Submitting this form will result in the cancellation of a flight booking for all customers identified below. For all other queries see our forms menu.

Before you complete the form, please note:

  • To request a voucher for the full value of your flight (if eligible), please complete the Voucher Refund Request Form.
  • Saver, Smart and Plus fares are non-refundable. But you can request a tax refund here.
  • If you are a travel agent you can request tax back for your customers below.
  • A Refund Administration fee may apply. Exceptions include fully refundable fare types like Flex / Advantage / Business Flex, and disrupted flights that we have had to cancel.
  • The details on the form below must match the details provided on the reservation.
  • For queries regarding your refund eligibility, please select the "Am I Eligible for a Refund?" option and add appropriate comments, as the remaining options will result in processing of the eligible refund.
  • You can only use this form if you purchased your ticket directly with Aer Lingus. If you purchased your ticket from a travel agent; tour operator or on another website, please contact them directly regarding your refund.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original form of payment used.
  • Bookings cannot be re-instated after cancelling.
  • Fares and fees for service that has already been provided cannot be refunded. If you feel we have not delivered a favourable customer experience and you are requesting compensation please use our Post Travel Enquiry form.
  • Infants and children cannot be left as remaining customers on a booking as a result of cancellation of all adult customers.
  • If you need to cancel your booking due to a bereavement, please complete the Bereavement Form to apply for a voucher or cash refund.
  • If you have booked a duplicate booking, please complete the Duplicate Booking Form to apply for a refund.
  • Only PDF or JPG image files can be uploaded to this form. Word documents are not permitted.
