How to get from the airport to the city centre?

There are lots of options for you to go from LAX to downtown Los Angeles, including taxis, buses, shuttle services or private app rides.

Taxi: Taxis can be picked up at three locations at LAX: right outside Terminal 1, inside the parking between Terminal B and Terminal 3 and at the far end of Terminal 7 outside of baggage claim. A ride to the downtown area takes around 20-25 minutes and may cost up to $120.

Bus: There are several companies that offer bus service from and to LAX. Passengers are encouraged to contact the companies first for more information. The FlyAway nonstop bus service provides transportation between LAX and Union Station and Van Nuys.
